Model V2 - Packed Column Double Stage Vertical Scrubber
V2 air scrubber is a double staged packed bed column, countercurrent flow. It consists of two separated packed bed within the same device. The first stage is Acid, then the second one is Alckaline - Oxidative, so it can perform a high removing efficiency for nuisance gases mixes.
Multiple separated stages (using different chemistries) enhance scrubbing power on a wider range of contaminant both of alkaline nature (such as Ammonia and Amines) and acid nature (such as Hydrogen Sulphide, Cloridic Acid etc.)
Consider V2 air scrubber as the equivalent of two single stage packed-bed column, the first one Acid, then the second one Alkaline - Oxidative.
The device suffers the presence of dust and particle in high concentrations, so we solved this problem with the production of V3 scrubber.
Also our double separated stage packed-bed scrubbers are custom-fabricated, since your air pollution /odour control issue is unique and the connected devices to solve it, will be unique too. This unique type of device permits to control difficult emissions and mixes of pesky odorous gases, containing acid/alkali pollutant.
This approach involves a moltitude of design aspects based on requirements expressed by you, the customer:
- Exhaust composition or nature (is there any sticky dust inside the flow?)
- Exhaust flow rate
- Exhaust temperature
- Pollutant removal efficiency
Through the strictly evaluation of the points listed below, our technicians shall calculate the dimensions of the device and prevent any operational problem (clogging, flooding, dragging of liquid droplets...)
We suggested V2 scrubber to:
- Meat rendering plants (only for room odour control)
- Drums remediation industry
- Sewage and waste water treatment plant odour contol
- Anyway the dust concentration permits the correct operativity
Our double separated stage vertical Scrubbers V serie version 'p' are completely made in Polypropylene (as a standard material). Polypropylene is a versatile plastic material corrosion resistant, unfortunately unsuitable to resist to temperature range 80°C-90°C. To avoid structural problem connected to temperature we completed our product range with version '304', completely made in Stainless Steel AISI 304.
