Model WTPDF515 -Polyalkylene Glycol
DF515 is a polyalkylene glycol based foam control agent suitable for high temperature aqueous systems. WTP DF 515 is an effective antifoam and defoamer at temperatures in excess of 55 0 C. WTP DF 515 offers good foam suppression at low doses and is therefore cost effective in use.
Typical areas of use where DF 515 may be successful include:
- Desalination
- Boiler Water
- Paper and Paperboard manufacture
- Bottle washing
- The Benfield washing process
- Sugar beet process

- Cloud point: 51 0 C
WTP DF515 can be dosed manually as and when foam occurs or automatically using a standard dosing pump and tank set.
Dosage will vary according to the application; typically shot doses should be made of 5 to 50 ppm, and continuous dosing of 0.2ppm to 10ppm using a suitably sized pump.

DF515 Treatments are shipped in 25 litre and 205 litre non-returnable drums.
