Penteco - Monofilament Woven Geotextile
Monofilament geotextiles are manufactured by weaving extruded, prestressed and round strands of polypropylene. These are characterised by greater strength & higher modulus, owing to the extrusion and the pre-stressing of its fabric. They also provide better drainage & filtration than the slit film woven geotextiles, and exhibit low potential for clogging. They are typically used for applications requiring both strength and filtration.
-
Controlled drainage with high tensile strength
-
Long-term filtration due to high percent open area (POA)
-
Reduces the required aggregate thickness in unpaved roads
-
Low potential for clogging
-
Drainage/filtration/collection systems in landfills
-
Spillways, swales, channels.
-
Filtration applications requiring larger opening sizes and higher strength.
