Installing a Keenan Filter system will give the operator advance warning that the online filter is starting to clog or water is detected before it can affect the engine operation.

Available in either a dual or single filter configuration, the premium MK60DP dual filter system offers the additional advantage of allowing the operator to switch the dirty filter offline and bring a clean filter online without shutting down the engine. The dirty filter can be changed, primed and ready to be put back online without bleeding the system. In either system, the integrated pump is used for priming and back up engine fuel pressure, but it can be also used for preventative fuel polishing ensuring clean fuel delivery and keeping the contaminants from building in the tank.

The typical yachts fuel system design has not changed since the use of diesel engines and still has the same fuel related issues that affect the engine operation. Based on the original FilterBOSS concepts, the new Keenan Filter Systems have been completely re-designed from the ground up to maximize functionality while significantly reducing the system’s overall footprint. Available as either single or dual filter models, both are engineered to combine all necessary clean fuel operations in one package to provide fuel polishing, servicing, clogged filter & water detection warnings and integrated communication.

Our Dual filter MK60DP systems also allows the operator to switch the dirty filter offline and bring a clean filter online without shutting down the engine. The dirty filter can then be changed and primed without bleeding the system using the integrated fuel pump. The pump can also be used for back up engine fuel pressure if needed.
