Eaton`s MR2 motorized remote racking system provides a means of remotely racking any VCP-W drawout circuit breakers and/or auxiliary drawers used in metal-clad switchgear. The addition of MR2 system helps mitigate arc flash exposure for the user.

  • Powered by internal CPT or customer supplied external 120 Vac power source
  • Optional front mounted 120Vac receptacle for temporary motor and pendant control
  • Permanently installed racking motors eliminate the need to lift, manipulate, or align heavy, bulky equipment
  • Single pendant will operate the MR2 for the auxiliary and breaker compartments
  • All circuit breaker and auxiliary compartment safety interlocks remain intact per IEEE C37.20.20
  • Logic is built into the device to sense interference issues
  • Controls can be integrated into switchgear secondary control circuits, and/or SCADA systems using Modbus interface or discrete wiring
