SHARE

The PCME LEAK LOCATE 320 PLUS is a digitally networked, multi-compartment baghouse monitoring system providing remote observation of the condition of bag and cartridge filters. An ElectroDynamic™ sensor is installed in the outlet of each compartment to monitor dust emission levels.  The network of sensors is connected to the PLUS Controller, which provides a large graphical user interface giving a clear indication of each compartment`s dust level and onward communication to a PC or PLC network.

The system is supported by the PC-ME DUST TOOLS software package for PCs, with advanced features for monitoring emission trends and identifying failing or broken bags.  For on-line cleaned bag filters, the specific bag row containing leaking bags can be located.

The PCME LEAK LOCATE 320 PLUS is a valuable filter maintenance tool:

  • giving advance warning of filter deterioration
  • enabling users to make significant savings in spares, maintenance time and lost production time
  • reducing the likelihood of large-scale emisson events

Wide Dynamic Range utilising latest digital signal processing techniques

Low and high dust levels are monitored accurately without compromising the accuracy of measurement created by large spikes from cleaning vs low background in dust levels (eg  from filter cleaning pulses)

Probe Check

Manually or automatically initiated options indicating sensor contamination to ensure improved data integrity, minimised false alarms and reduction in maintenance requirements.

Separate advanced graphical user interface and Control Unit

Convenient sensor set-up and display at a remote location away from baghouse

Large Bag Pulse Display

Graphical display of dust levels from each chamber enabling identification and locating of leaking and broken bags

PC-ME Dust Tools software options

Comparison of compartment emissions, locating specific, failing bag rows, real time and historical filter media performance

Floating Nut Stack Connection (sensor specific)

Quick and straightforward sensor installation and removal from the duct, without rotating sensor or disconnecting cables

Sensor

Sensor Options:

  • 316 Stainless Steel (standard)
  • Passive Sensor (option)
  • High temperature 0-250°C
  • Sensor Probe Check

Control Unit

The PLUS Controller is used for setting up and configuring the sensor network (via the multilingual menu)

Displaying overviews of sensor and system status, including Probe Check results, alarms and emission levels per compartment

Providing alarm relay outputs that can be configured to suit requirements eg  high and hi/hi emission alarms, sensor status and system failures
1x RS-485 (Modbus RTU)
4x Relays (2A @ 250V, user configurable)

External Inputs: Accepts input data from external devices (eg  for plant off indication, bag cleaning reference) via 1x digital input (expandable to 4 inputs using Auxilliary Input Module)

Power: 100-240VAC or 24VDC
