MuSol - Bulk Storage System
MuSol offers a range of bulk storage options for their products. Storage tanks are available from 1,000 litre to 15,000 litre and all have an integrated bunding system that has a tank within a tank for extra safety. Tank Filling pipe work along with the dosing pumps are housed in an external bunded cabinet to contain any spills. Dose lines are fully contained in a dual pipe arrangement, so any leaks are contained within the pipe work.
With Potassium Permanganate the powder needs to be manhandled into a small reservoir and then diluted with water before injection into the sludge. This process is laborious and can be potentially dangerous. The manual handling of strong oxidising agents is unwise and can lead to respiratory and strain injuries if the appropriate precautions are not taken.
With the MuSol system these problems are circumvented.
