Akdolit - Model Hydro-Karbonat C -Natural Carbonates For Water Treatment

The equilibrium of water can be calculated through many methods (Tillmans" curve, Langelier saturation index for determining whether water is corrosive, scale forming or well-balanced). To treat the resulting soft water, Akdolit launched Akdolit HYDRO-KARBONAT C, a consolidated, carbonatic filter material with a grain form. It is used for the filtrative neutralisation of very soft water to meet the requirements of the Drinking Water Ordinance. In this process, a corrosion-preventing increase of the concentration of the calcium and hydrogen carbonate ions is achieved.
