Nawrocki - Model DDD -Single or Double Direct Drive Pellet Mills
Nawrocki`s Pellet Mills are equipped with Single or Double Direct Drive - DDD . Its characteristic feature is a huge belt pulley, of the highest total power in its class, with a high torque. Directly connected by driving belts, the pelleting set is provided with huge power, which enables pelleting very difficult raw materials with no capacity loss.
ABS system – driving belts are protected against slipping – safe and controled maximal possible capacity. The operator can experiment with the raw material and manually lift the pellet mill load to the higher value than threshold parametres, specified in an automatic system. In this way, you can increase annual production even by 2% – 4%. You gain additional thousands of tons, make profit and receive fast reimbursement.
Capacity Optimization System (abbr. SOW in Polish) constantly monitors operation parametres and controls drives to optimally adjust power to temporary load. For sudden change of the material parametres (it often happens with biomass) or manual control, the SOW automatically reduces or increases power and in most cases protects against pouring and blocking the pelleting chamber.
Cruise Control, in the automatic system, increases load to the value specified earlier by the operator. Similarly to cars.
Huge belt pulley, even 20% bigger than at other competitive companies, is provided with full motor power. The larger pulley is driven by more V-belts. Therefore, our pelleting mils are more resistant to sudden temporary loads of the pelleting set. It means smaller losses due to breakdowns caused by unblocking the pelleting chamber.
Solid construction and Single or Double Direct Drive along with a huge belt pulley make it possible to apply large-operation-area dies, which directly affects the pellet mill capacity.
Raw Material Feeding System for a pelleting chamber directs the material to scrapers and then under rollers. In combination with arch rollers (our patent), the capacity of the pellet mill operation increases.

- Central Automatic Lubrication System frees operators from burdensome duty of controlling whether the pelleting set is provided with grease.
- Electronic power disconnector prevents from serious die damage in case the system roller-die is blocked by a foreign body or pelleting set overload.
- Highest-quality bearings of the pelleting set are selected so as to transfer motor power on a die in the most effective way
- Huge clutch designed for cooperation with a non-skid system is characterized by a high activation threshold, which loads the pellet mill down even above standard capacity level.
High work safety means high quality feeds
- All elements in contact with raw material are made of acid resistent steel. It concerns both feeds and biomass. Ordinary steel while contacting processing mass rusts immediately, which results in endless pellet mill investments. Acid resistent steel guarantees long life and high quality and purity of feeds.
- The cover of the pelleting chamber is equipped with sampling doors for bulk and pelleted feeds. You don`t have to break your work to examine how good-quality feeds you produce.
- The inner surface of the door is composed generally of flat elements that are easy to clean to prepare the pellet mill for producing other-type feeds. The danger of getting the remainders from the previous feed into the fresh one is minimized.
- Dedicated Steam Reduction and Stabilization System for feed conditioning and sterilizing.
- Integration with a sterilizer guarantees feed production free of bacteria, fungi and other harmful microorganisms. Other advantages of feed sterilization influence the consumption reduction and better feed assimilation.
- Fat Dosing System on hot pellet is the cheapest way of increasing calorific value of pelleted mass. The pelleting chamber cover is equipped with nozzles that only need connecting to fat-feeding installation (optional supply with a pellet mill). .
