On Thermosyphon Refrigeration Technology, these ice machines use R-717 (Ammonia) along with R-22 (Freon). The ice is generated within steel tubes with excellent circulation of water, allowing the production of crystallized ice in tubes with diameters of 20mm, 25mm, or 32mm and estimated lengths of 25/32mm. The device creates and expels this ice autonomously every 15 to 20 minutes. KAFCO Tube ice machines can also be provided with a frame structure that is properly insulated. They also have an electric board, a cyclic timer, a set of valves for hot gas on entrance, and an ice cutter motor.
