NETWATER WeirTech - Model Nw 57 -Radial Weir Overflow Screen
Netwater Technology's Radial Weir Overflow Screen WeirTech® Nw57 is designed to manage and treat various flow rates in urban wastewater purification processes. Anticipating peak flows due to rainfall, population growth, or other factors that alter normal flow rates is crucial. Many treatment facilities currently discharge these excess flows into rivers or seas without prior screening, leading to significant environmental damage. To address this, Netwater has developed the WeirTech® range of products, offering different versions and dimensions based on client installation requirements. These products are equipped with filtering or cleaning systems for the filter mesh, and the versatile design of the equipment allows for the manufacture of two types of filtering grids depending on the solids and flow rates to be treated. Option A uses a triangular mesh, while Option B uses a perforated mesh. It is important to apply a reduction based on the type and quantity of solids to be removed, and for precise details, clients should contact Netwater's technical department. Once an order is placed, it is recommended to create an implementation plan defining all final dimensions of the equipment, such as the width of the weir wall, to determine the effective width of the screen.
Overflow screen for wastewater, capable of treating all types of flows.
- Installation in storm tanks and spillways planned in roughing inlet channels (peak flow).
- Compact design makes installation easy.
- Brush cleaning system.
- Motorized system with sprocket-chain, elevated from the flood zone.
- Filtering zone profile in 2 versions (Triangular or Perforated Profile).
- “Low cost” investment.
In urban wastewater treatment processes, it must be anticipated that there may be peak flows or excess flows due to rainfall, increased population density in municipalities and other factors that may alter normal flows. These excess flows are currently discharged into rivers or seas in many treatment plants without prior screening of suspended solids, which causes significant damage to the environment.
To achieve this objective, NETWATER has designed a range of products called WeirTech®. This range is available in different versions and dimensions depending on the type of installation the client requires. All of our products have integrated filtering or mesh cleaning systems.
The versatile design of the equipment allows us to manufacture 2 types of filter grids, depending on the type of solid and flow rate to be treated:
