To aid in these obligations, ABB provides two advanced techniques for the effective and reliable measurement and control of nitrate in sewage treatment, river quality, potable water treatment - UV absorbtion and ion-selective electrode.
The Nitrate Monitor AV450 has been designed for use on potable water treatment plants as a means of determining the quality of the final treated water. Other applications include blending of high and low nitrate waters and for borehole waters. The AV450 provides continuous analysis with the minimum of manual intervention and extremely low running costs – no expensive chemical reagents are required.
The Nitrate Monitor AV455 has been designed for use on potable water treatment plants as a means of determining the quality of the final treated water. The AV455 provides continuous analysis with the minimum of manual intervention and extremely low running costs – no expensive chemical reagents are required. AV455 offers additional cost savings by having two measurements in one transmitter.
The Nitrate Analyzer 8236 is a compact, self-contained analyzer that provides effective measurements of nitrate in sewage and potable water treatment and river quality monitoring. ABB`s unique long life, reservoir fed, ion-exchange nitrate ion-selective electrode and reference electrode are used in a carefully designed liquid handling section to reduce maintenance to a minimum.
