The chemical reagents utilized during analysis are a major contributor to analytical blanks. Sub-boiling distillation is recognized as the most effective method for acid purification. This technique employs Wrap-around silicone heating jacket to vaporize the surface liquid at a temperature typically 20 °C below the boiling point. In conventional distillation, the boiling process generates aerosolized particles, leading to contamination in the distillate. In contrast, the gentle surface evaporation used in sub-boiling distillation minimizes spray or droplet formation, resulting in high-purity acids. Advantages: 1. Utilizes the same technology as commercial production for ultra-trace metals analysis. 2. Achieves up to 90% cost savings on ultra-pure acids by purifying lower-cost reagent-grade acids. 3.
