Caron - Model CTA Series -Off-Road Transport Vehicles
An innovative vehicle designed for the most demanding operators. Series CTA matches the dynamic qualities of Series CTS with the efficiency of Series CT. It is equipped with the new hydro-pneumatic independent double wishbone suspensions system - CHS System (LINK) - on the front axle ensuring high driving comfort even during long trips. Total approved mass of 10000 kg with a loading capacity of 7000 kg, combined with the possibilty of towing weights up to 14000 kg. Equipped with the latest generation 4 cylinders Common Rail engines with powers from 75 up to 110 hp.
Austrian-Swiss version, with chassis with quick connections for equipments. This version is equipped with central PTO with independent hydraulic clutch and electro-hydraulic control (540-1000 rpm), hydraulic distributor with 3 remote levers with flow rate control and 5 outlets rear the cab.
Possible wheelbases: 2600 mm, 2800 mm and 3000 mm.
Also the dumping box with chassis, tipping plant and supporting feet is available for this version.
Italian Version with three-way hydraulic dumping box and rear 540 rpm standard pto, with electro-hydraulic control.
The Italian Version is available in three different wheelbases and platform sizes: wheelbase 2600 mm with dumping box 2900x1720x400 mm or wheelbase 2800 or 3000 mm with dumping box 3160x1720x400 mm.
The forest version can be customized with different solutions. Forest crane can be placed in central or rear position, on removable body or in fixed position on reinforced chassis. Moreover, the loading body can be adapted to the operator`s needs.
This version is extremely suitable for municipalities and companies. The vehicle can be fitted with a lot of equipments for the winter service, construction work, green areas maintenance and even fire-fighting service.
In the municipal version, the vehicle is available in different hydraulic versions for the use of equipments (front equipments on the fixing plate, or on the rear axle or on the loading platform), operated through levers or joystick controls.
- CHS (Caron Hydropneumatic Suspension): hydro-pneumatic independent double wishbone suspensions on the front wheels. With automatic level adjustment, electronic roll control and suspension lock possibility
- Front axle load KG 5.000. Rear axle load KG 6.500.
- Spheroidal cast iron axles with final planetary reduction gears.
- Parking spring brake on rear wheels, acting with hand lever and hydraulic transmission.
- Three-stage electromagnetic brake retarder with controls on the steering wheel.
- The new dumping system of the cab allows an easier and faster maintenance. Thanks to a hydraulic piston, the cab can be manually dumped in a few seconds without tools.
- Driving position has been carefully developed to reach high comfort and visibility. The wide adjustments of the seats and of the steering column allow the operator to find the perfect driving position at any time.
- Anatomically shaped seats with a wide adjustment`s possibility of the cushion, the back and of the suspensions.
- The column steering wheel can be manually adjusted (height and inclination).
- Through the joystick the operator can easily and efficientely use the equipments. Movements and functions of hydraulic distributor are displayed on the lcd screen.
- The 7” digital touch screen display provides all the information for the proper use and maintenance of the vehicle.
- Radio with MP3 Reader and USB inlet. Audio system with two speakers.
- Rear wireless videocamera with 6” LCD screen.
- Adjustable heating system of the cab.
- Upon request, the cab can be equipped with automatic air conditioning system.
- Battery master-switch for the rest period.
- Sliding window on the rear side of the cab.
- Cab top with integrated additional lights.
- Storage compartment with door on the passenger side.
- Stainless steel toolbox placed under the loading platform.
- Exhaust system with outlet over the cab.
- 102 litres plastic tank with metal protection support.
