SHARE

Leybold TRIVAC B oil sealed double stage vane pumps are well known and being used in all areas of vacuum engineering and are equally suited for both industrial production and research applications. The TRIVAC B pumps, used to generate a rough and medium vacuum or as backing pumps in pump combinations with Roots vacuum pumps or high vacuum pumps, have the ability of pumping down from the atmosphere.

The TRIVAC B pump excels with a high vacuum performance by delivering a low ultimate pressure and high water vapor tolerance with an integrated gas ballast. With a low noise level and low vibration, TRIVAC B pumps do not add to the noise in your working environment. The well-proven robust design with low thermal losses and air-cooled design makes the TRIVAC B pumps portable and compact. A comprehensive range of accessories and variants are available to offer a complete solution to meet the requirements of your applications.

The TRIVAC B range is available in six different sizes with an ultimate pressure of 10-4 mbar and a pumping speed in the range of 4 m3/h to 65 m3/h:

  • TRIVAC D 4/8 B Series
  • TRIVAC D 16/25 B Series
  • TRIVAC D 40/65 B Series

  • Low ultimate pressure (10-4 mbar), continuous operation even at 1000 mbar
  • Integrated gas ballast for High water vapor tolerance
  • Low oil back streaming thanks to Anti-suckback valve controlled via the oil pressure
  • Built-in oil pump for lubrication, cooling and handling particulates
  • Custom Vertical or horizontal intake and exhaust ports
  • Service-friendly; Exchangeable inner body, pressure lubricated sliding bearings
  • Standard variants are certified in accordance with 2014/34/EU (ATEX Category 3 inside)

TRIVAC B pumps use oil, injected into the pump chamber, for sealing, lubrication and cooling of the pump. The lubrication system is rated for continuous operation at high intake pressures (max. 1000 mbar abs.). This leads to the capability of being used in a versatile manner from atmospheric down to ultimate pressure. The oil carried with the process gas is separated in the oil box.

A wide range of accessories include various types of exhaust filters capable of trapping fine oil mist, which is then transported with the process gas. The option of adding an oil return system completes the modular TRIVAC B range by supplying the filtered oil back into the pump.
