Dustroid is a Continuous Air Particulate Monitoring system to measure the concentration of dust particulates in the ambient air. The dust monitor range is capable of monitoring various sizes of particulates ranging from 1 micron to 100 microns such as Ultrafine Suspended Particulate Matter PM1 (UFPM), Respiratory Particulate Matter PM2.5 (RSPM), Suspended Particulate Matter PM10 (SPM), and Total Suspended Particulates PM100 (TSP). By using external modules one can also monitor meteorological parameters like wind speed, wind direction to identify PM dispersion and impact of dust levels in a vicinity.
The sensor-based particulate matter monitor can be deployed for various applications like Road side dust monitoring, Industrial dust monitoring, Construction dust monitoring, etc.
Dustroid is an ideal choice for dust surveys in areas with dust-laden activities like construction, mining, quarrying, ports, metallurgical processes, and many more, etc. The Dustroid measures all major particulate matter like PM1, PM2.5, PM10, PM100, Temperature, and Humidity. The dust monitor is technologically equipped and works on the Active Sampling method to count particulate matters using a highly accurate laser beam. Additionally, it has a heated inlet for dehumidification of air-sample. Its Anti-static inlet avoids loss of particulate during sampling. It offers remote calibration capabilities along with auto device firmware updates.
Our intelligent optical particle counter can measure data with high accuracy and transmit the same through various data communication modules like GSM, WiFi, LORA, etc. The data is transmitted to the Oizom cloud in near real-time. Additionally, it has an inbuilt memory backup to ensure no data loss in case of network failure. The collected data can be visualized on the Oizom IoT Terminal in the form of real-time dashboards, automated reports, and smart alerts. The data can also be accessed through Rest APIs for setting triggers and alerts to automate dust mitigation systems like fogging cannons, misting systems, and ambient dust purification systems.
These are the external modules that can be attached to the Dustroid dust monitor range. Please note that the external modules do not come as a part of standard offerings. You can order it separately or include it while purchasing the Dustroid product range. Please speak with our expert team to choose the right accessories as per your application.
Our sensing technology works on proven working principles like Optical Particle Counting, Laser Scattering, Semiconductor, and Optical Measurement. As a part of our proprietary ‘Micro Active Sampling’ (e-breathing technology), we have a sophisticated suction-and-exhaust system for air sample collection and monitoring inside a controlled environment. This isolates the effect of the external environment on measurement to achieve 13% higher accuracy than the industry standards.
Laser Scattering – The sensor emits a laser beam to diffract through the air sample collected in the equipment. The intensity of the beam scattered from the particles provides particle size distribution and concentration data.
Dust Data Monitored by Dustroid is accessible using the Air Quality Software. The platform has essential features like…
Micro-analysis Dashboard
Historical Data Analytics
Dust Report
Smart Alerts
Historical Data-set Download
Dust Data is also accessible using secured HTTP/MQTT APIs. Using the APIS, the data can be published on Public Display, Smart TVs, Websites (using widget), and Mobile Apps.
By building conditional algorithms and logic on the realtime dust data, automated dust suppression is possible.
Dustroid Solution is designed with an ultra-modular approach to accommodate any existing infrastructure. For power, Dustroid can work on External AC or DC power as well as Solar Power (not available for Dustroid Pro). For data transmission, the Dustroid dust monitor range can communicate the data using various Wired and Wireless channels. GSM, GPRS, 3G, WiFi, LORA, LTE, SIGFOX are available for wireless data communication. Where Ethernet, Modbus, RS-485, RS-232 are the wired data-communication options. The ambient air particulate data monitored by Dustroid can be transmitted to Oizom Cloud which can be hosted on Shared or Private Infrastructure. The data from Oizom Cloud can be served for different data-solutions based on end-application.
Dust data measured from Dustroid can be visualized and analyzed in Oizom Data Terminal. Smart dust alerts can be set-up on the dust data from Dustroid. Various process equipment can be regulated based on Dustroid data for automated solutions. Automated reports can be generated by the system. Using Dustroid data, real-time dust impact assessment is possible for management.
