You can order it separately or include it while purchasing the Polludrone lite air quality monitor. Please speak with our expert team to choose the right accessories as per your application.
The Polludrone Lite air quality monitor works on proven working principles like NDIR, Electrochemical Analysis, Semiconductor, Optical Measurement, and Laser-Scattering. As a part of our proprietary ‘Micro Active Sampling’ (e-breathing technology), we have a sophisticated suction-and-exhaust system for air sample collection and monitoring inside a controlled environment. This isolates the effect of the external environment on measurement to achieve 13% higher accuracy than the industry standards.
Laser Scattering – The sensor emits a laser beam to diffract through the air sample collected in the equipment. The intensity of the beam scattered from the particles provides particle size distribution and concentration data.
Electrochemical Analysis – The gaseous emission is treated electrochemically, where an external potential is applied. Each species like CO2, H2S, CH4, etc. is identified depending on their oxidation or reduction potential.
NDIR – The gases emitted from the location undergoes Nondispersive Infrared Radiation where the sample air is subjected to infrared radiation. Different gaseous molecules absorb IR at different frequencies. The amount of IR absorbed gives the volumetric concentration of each gaseous constituent.

Smart homes and campuses are common concepts nowadays. Therefore, Air quality and ambient atmosphere are among the key criteria in choosing a residential area. An average person spends 10-14 hours of his day at home. Hence, it is necessary to ensure that it is clean, dust-free, and healthy. With increased environmental pollution, people are more inclined towards being aware of its impact on their health. Increased urbanization and auto mobilizing have made it prominently essential to keep their outdoor activities ...
Students spend more than 25% of their day at School and University campuses. Poor air quality levels at the school campuses put the most vulnerable group at the highest risk. UNICEF and WHO have stated that young lungs are more susceptible to air pollution. Exposure at a young age when the immune system is weaker may lead to permanent respiratory health issues such as asthma and lung cancer. This renders air monitoring essential in and around the school and university campus.
Mining and quarrying activities contribute to dust emissions from periodic explosions and heavy transportation vehicles. Subsequently, many industrial processes emit particulate matter mainly mineral, metallic, and wood dust. This phenomenon worsens air quality and increases the cases of respiratory ailments like asthma, bronchitis, etc. Dust measurement on these sites becomes critical as it can affect overall ambient air quality conditions. Construction activities are also one of the major sources of airborne ...
