The energy savings are significant because large doors are not opened and closed repeatedly. The freezing racks remain inside the cold zone throughout the process, preventing any energy loss from heating or cooling the steel frames.

Loading and unloading occur continuously—one station and one rack at a time—so, unlike traditional static blast freezers, there are no energy peaks or valleys.

Continuous freezing also eliminates the risks often associated with static tunnel freezers, where product quality can suffer due to warming, dripping, or leakage while products wait for the tunnel to be filled.
