SOLLAU - Model DND-AC -Overband Magnet with Automatic Cleaning
Suspended permanent magnets with automatic cleaning are suitable for materials with a high content of ferromagnetic particles, which would clog manually cleanable magnetic plates very quickly. Using of this separator placed above the conveyor belt enables sorting of iron contaminants from the processed materials. At the same time, the subsequent technological appliances are protected from damage. The tramp ferrous metal extracted from the conveyed material is constantly removed by a heavy duty rubber belt.

In order to achieve the highest possible degree of separation (especially in case of a higher layer of material transported on the conveyor belt) it is recommended that the overband magnet DND (separating tramp metal from the top layer) is combined with the magnetic pulley MV (that is able to attract ferromagnetic particles from the bottom material layer).
