OXYMOP - Model 6334 -Reinforced Water Treatment Plant

Designed to treat domestic wastewater from 50 to 200 equivalent inhabitants, these plants are aerobic biological treatment systems operating the principle of extended aeration with recycle and automatic extraction of settled sludge up to the inlet of a primary decanter. Because of their operating principle and because of the amount of generated sludge (in relation with the bacterial growth) which have to be eliminated, these plants require maintenance monitoring. The chains primary decanters + OXYMOP are designed to secure a release in mid-water surface in accordance with the decree of June 22, 2007. This release to the shallow water environment is subject to approval of administrative bodies. If the inlet level of the plant from the ground level is above 800 mm, installing a lifting station is recommended. It should make a specific study by site based on spot heights to give us. Nota : In case of water coming from the kitchens of a restaurant, a grease separator should be installed upstream from the water treatment plant. The chain primary decanter + OXYMOP must be preceded by a grit chamber (which could be integrated into the lifting station).

INSTALLATION    -

Technical data sheets P050, P053, P072 describe the installation conditions and reservations, trenches and connections between the tanks to be provided by the construction company. Reminders : Seeding : Provide a pre-seeding of the water treatment plants with a biomass coming from an activated sludge treatment which equals to 1/3 of the activation basin. A company authorized by SIMOP make connections, testing and commissioning of the plant in the presence of the company which performed the installation.

MAINTENANCE    -

A maintenance contract will be signed with a specialist authorized by SIMOP from the commissioning. The guarantee of the results, the operation and of the electromechanical pieces will be only validated on this condition.

• Maintenance of the water treatment plant : See technical data sheet 6321 concerning the primary decanter. Monthly extraction of the floatings which surface the clarifier
• Drainings : Before draining, the electromecanical apparatuses must be stopped. Every 6 months, it is necessary to carry out draining of the lower 2/3 the volume of sludge. Sludge could be collected by a specialized company.
• Electromecanical apparatuses should be inspected frequently.
• Aeration and recirculation times are preprogrammed (in factories) and must be checked and adjusted if necessary depending on the actual use of the plant.
