Tenmat OverSleeves - Model FF109 -Pipe Fire Sleeves (PFS)
Tenmat Firefly 109 is a compressible intumescent material which expands to form a resilient and stable char. The material is available in sheets of minimum 10 mm thickness or alternatively in formed shapes. The FF109 Pipe Fire Sleeves (PFS) is a range of passive fire protection penetration seals designed for fire-stopping around insulated metal and combustible plastic pipes.
Tenmat Firefly 109 is a lower-density material with lower expansion characteristics; this allows the material to function in a controlled manner without the need for additional restraints. Applications include pipe, socket, vent duct, or downlight penetration seals.
The Fire Sleeves offer Fire, Acoustic, Thermal and Vapour seal performance to a range of pipes passing through various wall or floor constructions.
The CE Marked range is fire tested in accordance with EN 1366-3 and classified to EN13501-2.
The FF109 Pipe Fire Sleeves (PFS) are manufactured from a unique, low smoke, zero halogen intumescent material. The Fire Sleeves are supplied pre-formed and ready to install to suit a variety of pipe diameters.
With a nominal thickness of 25mm, the compressible intumescent sleeve is supplied wrapped in a reinforced aluminium foil allowing it to be cut down its length and retro-fitted around the pipes. This provides an effective fire, smoke and acoustic seal whilst also allowing for some thermal movement. Fire Ratings of EI30, EI60, EI90, EI120 or even up to EI240 minutes are offered depending on the construction type.

Tenmat Firefly 109 is available in a variety of standard sizes. It can be supplied in 610 x 1000 mm sheets with 10-60 mm thickness, or alternatively can be cut into strips of a defined length and width, within the sheet dimensions, or vacuum formed into various shapes. Tenmat offers all these options and sizes as standard to suit customer requirements
