Pipex px - Puddle Flanges
Pipex px Puddle Flanges are designed to provide a direct, improved alternative to concrete, brick and plastic alternatives. Suitable for casting into concrete blocks, walls & slabs, they provide cable and services penetration points specific to individual project specifications.
Available in standard or bespoke sizes, our unique offsite manufacturing capabilities ensure we can fabricate to any size, diameter or configurations required, with multiple cable entry points to suit bell mouth pipe entries.
Connections can be plain end, or Pipex px® can supply them complete with machined connectors or double "o" ring sockets if your project demands.
Our Puddle Flanges are engineered from robust, corrosion resistant thermoplastic with an embossed impregnated surface finish for bonding to concrete structures.
Materials of Manufacture
- Polypropylene (PP-H)
- High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)
- Highly corrosion resistant to many acids, alkalis, salts & solvents
- Smooth internal bores preventing the build-up of FOGs (Fats, Oils & Greases)
- Excellent hydraulic properties due to smooth pipe exterior
- Outstanding light resistance and weatherability
- Operating temperatures (HDPE: -40°C - + 80°C) (PP-H: 0°C - +100°C and will withstand 110°C short term use)
- Lightweight, impact resistant and robust solutions
Our unique offsite manufacturing, prefabrication & integrity testing techniques enable site delivery of pre-assembled & pre-tested itemised pipe spools, for fast-track site installation with minimal site joints required.
