Jordan-Reduction - Model BDH -Plastic Granulator
Our BDH Plastic Granulator can handle high volumes of plastics based materials with output sizes ranging from 2` down to fine mesh sizes. Use of a qualifying screen with various hole diameters determines the final product size. Granulators can be used when the full power of our large Plastic Grinder is not required.
Our granulator machines are sized by the dimensions of the inlet cutting chamber. Small granulators start at 8" x 10" with a 5 HP motor, with the largest size of 16" x 35" with a 40 HP motor. We have test data available from years of development and testing to estimate production rates for most applications. We also offer in-house testing for your specific materials. Contact our sales department to arrange testing.
In addition to our standalone granulators, we also offer fully configured granulator systems which include electrical controls and cabinet and any required inlet or outlet systems such as conveyors or air discharge. Our plastic granulators can easily be integrated with existing shredder or grinder systems and plastic recycling equipment.

The incoming material is cut with replaceable, double-edged, hardened knives constructed from high alloy steel for long service life in any plastics application. The machine is designed for easy access and adjustment during routine servicing. The rotor body is machined from solid forged steel or hot rolled steel bar.
