Plexus - Cloud Based Industrial Energy Monitoring System

Plexus Controls Intelligent Wireless System (IWS) nodes comprise of a range of distributed wireless products providing advanced supervisory, control and data acquisition (SCADA) functionality for commercial and industrial applications. Initially designed for Plexus Controls power meter (IWS-R-300PWR) and Plexus Controls power factor controller system (IWS-R-CMS), the cloud base service can attach to any Modbus RTU power monitoring system and aggregate data for viewing on-line. All system configurable parameters are held in a file that can be edited by the user on the CMS system.

On power up all Plexus systems connect to the service automatically and start to upload data in real time. The cloud service
display has the following user features:

  • Customer configurable gateway and appliance registration
  • Monitor whole factories or divide into customer configurable sub zones for process analysis

  • Histograms (displaying up to 3 plots on the same graph)
