AES - Polyelectrolyte Preparation Units
Polyelectrolyte is used as flocculant agent when treating potable process and waste water and to accelerate or improve the solid/liquid separation process. They are added to water or wastewater sludge in the form of highly diluted solutions. The long experience of AES in the field of sludge dewatering has led to the development of preparation and dosing of organic mediums. Vast experience with many supplied plants absorbed knowledge of the application of the most different flocculation mediums led to conception of the Standard plants POLIDOZ M and POLIDOZ A.
Polidoz M
Plant for Manual Preparation of Polyelectrolyte
Polidoz M type has been designed to offer a complete system for manual preparation of polyelectrolyte solutions and is the ideal choice for occasional or discontinuous use. A quantity of polyelectrolyte, measured according to the solvent water quantity, will be mixed into the ripening tank with the solvent water. The agitator (slow mixer) will be continuously in operation. The ripened solution will be dosed over the discharge device and the dosing pump.
Polidoz A
Plant for Automatically Preparation of Polyelectrolyte
The preparation tank is divided into three zones; dissolving, maturing and storage zones. The dry flocculation medium will be placed in the dry material feeder. The dry material feeder can be sensitively adjusted in its dosing capacity and is dosing the flocculation medium in the eductor.
The water/powder mixture then drops into the tank below where dissolving phase begin. The water supply is being controlled by a pressure control. Then solution transferred to maturing zone where rapid mixer keeps it homogeneous until maturing complete. Finally the solution transferred to the storage zone. The level switch installed in this sector, which regulates the preparation process in sensitive charges.
All electric control and command devices, necessary for the operation of the installation are placed in control panel.
