Economic and efficient solutions for all filtration problems from 5 liters to 18 m³ cake capacities. Filterpresses met the industry in early 1900`s and started to be used extensively in sludge dewatering (decomposition of solid and liquid). Previously used only labor intensive, this equipment, changed its image as of 1960`s and took its place in industry by various automotions. They have become the indispensable equipments of the plants having been donated by washing, drying, automatic discharge mechanisms in order to make out a cake as dry as possible.

This type of press operates by a manuel hand pump. Following the closure of the cylinder the nut is engaged to maintain a constant pressure.

The Plate & Frame filterpress is the oldest type of filterpresses. The plates are made out of a variety of metal such as cast iron, aluminum or plastics with the most common being polypropylene. Plate &Frame filterpresses are used more in production applications. like in the chemical industry. where different processes require different cake thicknesses and a frame can change out easily accomplishes this.

The modem filter presses use recessed plates because of the advantages of dryer operations and the ability to feed the larger center hole. When these plates are pushed together, they form the cavity for solids to collect in. These recessed plates are normally manufactured out of polypropylene and come in gasketed and non-gasketed types. The gasketed plate is normally center feed with rubber gaskets around the corner holes and the solids cavity. The feed slurry is fed through the center feed and the solids collect in the plate cavity, while the filtered liquid passes through the cloth to the drainage surface. From the drainage surface, the liquid flows to the corner holes where it goes into the discharge piping and then to the process tank or drain. The recessed plates and it`s application are the same as a gasketed plate, except that it has no gaskets.

Belt presses are presented as the best solution for sludge dewatering processes with continuous and high flow rates required systems. Low initial investment compared to other dewatering equipment costs and low operating costs of belt presses is emerging as advantageous. AESP series of belt presses are produced in four different sizes for the sludge dewatering problems to provide the most economical solution to the problem.

Clarifier Features: It is used to separate suspended solids from the raw water while discharging. Less space with compact structure. To increase efficiency, flocculation and mixing chamber are available in interior design. Sanding, priming and epoxy coatings are available. Has a strong construction. Detachable PVC settling plates are available. Sludge output flange is two-sided. Entrance hall was large designed. Sludge samples taps are available.

Polyelectrolyte is used as flocculant agent when treating potable process and waste water and to accelerate or improve the solid/liquid separation process. They are added to water or wastewater sludge in the form of highly diluted solutions. The long experience of AES in the field of sludge dewatering has led to the development of preparation and dosing of organic mediums. Vast experience with many supplied plants absorbed knowledge of the application of the most different flocculation mediums led to conception of the Standard plants POLIDOZ M and POLIDOZ A.

The drum screens, that used for separation of solid particles in liquids, are designed internal or external flows according to the characteristics of particles.

Mixing coagulant and chemicals with water can be done with AES mixers and flocculators. All of the propulsion groups, motor, reducer and the overall project has a strong structure and long life. Mixer and flocculators can be produced from coated (rubber, teflon, rilsan etc..) carbon steel or dyed carbon steel, galvanized carbon steel or stainless steel material. All these elections, can be carried out by AES according to the process.

following the openning of the press, plate transportation process is carried out by the plate shifting device. This design is properatory toAES and facilitates an efficent reliable operation.
