Polypropylene Vertical Centrifugal Process Pumps
Vertical Centrifugal process pump can be used in any installation or specially where the saving of space is important factor or mechanical seal not required. These pumps are designed for use where the liquid handled to be of highly corrosive nature or where non-adherence of product or zero metallic contamination is must. These pumps are equally ideal for continuous or intermittent service for hanling conrrosive as well as ultra pure chemicals without fear of corrosion or contamination. All components in the watted end of the pump are moulded of engineered plastic. These pumps are not only less costly than high alloy or exotic metal pumps, but they may be used safely in service where metal pumps are completely inadequate.
Chemical Resistant
All contact parts are made from Polypropylene with PTFE sealing-rings. Provides excellent resistance to corrosive and hazardous chemical liquids like HCL, H2SO4 (30% TO 80%), HNO3 . Specially designed to handle nearly all corrosives and erosives easily and efficiently for continuous and intermitent service.
High Temperature Service
Maximum working temperature is 1100c.
Length
Pumps lengths lengths available from 1` to 12` with flowrate upto 50 m3/h or 50 meterhead. Higher capacities and head available.
Models
Available in conventional or tailormade configuration. Several models such as suction extension with float switch, (auto on/off device)- also available with Polypropylene mounting plates.
- Bearing free design for handling abrassives in solutions.
- Motors are flange mounted Single or Three Phase TEFC from 1 HP to 10 HP.
- Epoxy / Polyurathene paints are used on metallic Bearing Housing.
- No metal in contact with solution. No danger of Corrosion or contamination.
- Heavy plastic sleeves isolates steel shaft from liquid being pumped.
- Radial vanes on backside of impeller increase flow of fluids through the sleeve bearing preventing overflow at top of column.
- Lubrication of bearings by product itself or by fresh water.
- All models operate at 1450 rpm / 2900 rpm.
- Specially designed vapour seal provided to protect bearing form corrosive fumes.
- Dynamically balanced impeller made from glass-filled reinforced engineered plastic.
- Bearings of High Allumina Ceramic Sleeves. Purity 99.5%.
