The Geometrics G-857 is the new work horse of the magnetic surveying industry. Geometrics have designed a new single PCB board to replace the two G-856AX Magnetometer and CPU boards. This increases reliability and performance, and also allows us to maintain the same low sales price as before.
Legacy data formats and menu systems remain in place as an option on the G-857 so there is no need to change logging parameters on existing tool calibration systems.
All of the accessories of the G-856AX will work with the G-857 including the sensor, sensor cable, harness, battery (rechargeable type), charger, staff, RS-232 cable, carrying case.Most popular related searches

The G-856AX is probably the simplest memory magnetometer to operate, of any competitive unit on the market today, making an ideal instrument for the unskilled operator, and for student teaching purposes. It is supplied as standard with a set of field accessories for total field recording, but optional accessories include a gradiometer attachment and base station cabling and high signal strength sensor.
