Potential - Floating Suction Assemblies
Floating Suction Assembly is ideal for use in vertical and horizontal above & under the ground storage tanks to draw contaminant-free liquid. Floating suction is designed to intake pure liquid from the top of a storage tank by eliminating contaminants like water, rust, debris, foreign particles, etc, which are heavy thus settling at the bottom of the storage tank. It comprises a bell mouth suction pipe for intel, swivel joints designed for immersed service, and floats to suspend the mouth just below the top surface of the stored product. Based on the tank dimensions floating suction can be single or double-armed.
Floating Suction is installed in tanks storing products that demand the withdrawal of a clear top layer of the stored liquid e.g., ATF storage tanks. The suction mouth is always below the top of the liquid level to eliminate the entry of heavier particles.
