Potential - Integrated Oil Containment & Recovery System
Integrated oil containment & recovery system is a high-capacity offshore skimmer. It handles all types of oil (low, medium & high viscosity). The system can be interchanged into either disc, brush or weir depending upon oil properties. The system consists of an umbilical hose reel integrated with hydraulic cylinder arm and turntable for deployment, operation and retrieval of skimmer. The wireless remote control and thruster system enables remote positioning of the skimmer head and operation of hose reel. The system incorporates two powerful pumps to facilitate pumping of skimmed liquid. The entire system is mounted on a 20 feet steel container with detachable roof, walls and doors.
The unique design of the offshore skimmer enables handling of all types of oil viz., low, medium and high viscosity oil. The design also facilitates deployment, operation and retrieval. A wireless remote control and thruster system allows remote positioning of the skimmer head and operation of the umbilical hose reel. To handle any types of viscous liquid, two hydraulic driven pumps are installed. Complete system is driven by a diesel engine power pack.
