The meters incorporate two-way remote communications, as well as a digital display and valve (allowing remote cut-off for prepaid compliant with STS) all integrated and waterproof in a single box. Using meter communication, the system performs water loss analysis on the distribution network, identifying leaks and pipe breaks.
