Maharshee - Model MG -PP Nonwoven, Needlepunched Geotextile
Mgiplgeo nonwoven geotextiles are manufactured from high quality polypropylene staple fibres. The fibres are mechanically bonded through needle-punching to form a strong, flexible and dimensionally stable fabric structure, with optimum pore sizes and high permeability. The geotextile is resistant to chemicals and biological organisms normally found in soils and is stabilized against degradation due to short-term exposure to ultraviolet radiation. Mgiplgeo nonwoven geotextiles conforms to the following property values.
- a PR 15 meets all requirements for a Type III Geotextile as per IRC: SP: 59-2002
- b PR 20 meets all requirements for a Type II Geotextile as per IRC: SP: 59-2002
- c PR 30 meets all requirements for a Type I Geotextile as per IRC: SP: 59-2002
The above values are effective from 01 – 08 – 2009. The values are average roll values in which all the properties are having -10% tolerances. Water Permeability, Elongations are having -30% tolerance and AOS have + 30%.
