The innovative polymer fiber filter FIBALON® has been successfully registered for the public and private sector of bath water and bath water supply as well as FIBALON® has become state-of-the-art. The Hungarian authorities are pioneers in the product approval for bathing-water and are setting the highest demands on product and technology in Europe.
Our steady investment in research and development has enabled us to improve the filtration performance of our FIBALON®pool. Due to an optimized fiber combination and innovative process technologies, we can now offer FIBALON®3D with a selectivity of 8 microns.
FIBALON®3D is the origin for crystal clear water and provides the best results at a filtration speed of 30 m / h (according to DIN 19605). The backwash speed should be based on the filtration speed.
The innovative FIBALON®3D is surface-treated and surface-activated. Conventional textile filter media (e.g. filter fleece) filter only with the spaces between the fibers (similar to a sieve). On the other hand, FIBALON® is taking a new approach: FIBALON®3D does not filter with interspaces like conventional textile filter media but with the fibers themselves. For this purpose, an innovative process for the surface activation of the fibers has been developed. In this way, the FIBALON® fibers use specific physical properties to bind the dirt particles.

The interior of the fibrous ball consists of a slightly denser core and a softer wrap. The balls nestle together to form a consistent filter bed. The deliberately chosen spherical shape maximizes the filter media’s surface area.
We developed also the fiber fixation DyFix® which yields an unusually high particle retention rate and deep penetration of particles into the FIBALON® media bed to provide excellent filtration results. FIBALON® leads with minimum weight to an excellent energy balance compared to conventional filter media.

- Fill up the filter with FIBALON® as high as the sand
- Distribute FIBALON® in the filter without compressing

FIBALON® is the origin of crystal clear water. The best performance and the best results will be achieved with a filtration speed of 30-m / h (according to DIN 196are m / h recommended). Please use the same filtration speed when you backwash FIBALON®.

The special fiber structure of FIBALON®3D enables a high selectivity of 8 micron.
The first impressions count: Turbidity is not a physical quantity but a subjective impression. Despite the filter run time of over 1.000 hours, FIBALON® ensures crystal clear water. The measured values were during the entire operating time significantly below the statutory limit of 0.5 FNU (Formazine Nephelometric Units, measuring by scattered light (angle of 90° in accordance with ISO 7027)).
