VTech - Model PD Series -Pressure Decay Leak Test Instrument
The VTech PD Pressure Decay Leak Test System is a low-cost, bench-top instrument for detecting gross leaks in sealed refrigeration circuits and components. A Pressure Decay Leak test is highly recommended prior to tracer gas fine leak testing in order to avoid contamination of the test area. In specific applications, where a low leak rate resolution is sufficient, a PD test may be all is required.
The unit is completely automatic. The cycle is selected via the touch screen or optional barcode scanner and started by a convenient foot pedal. An optional two-color stack light indicates the system status.
Additional configurations include the GF10 for tracer gas filling, PD10-HE for PD test with tracer gas filling, and PD10HR for higher leak test resolution.
