ICT - Primary Aluminum Multi-channel Pockets
The industry that makes the most widespread use of multi-channel pockets is primary aluminium production, as part of its electrolysis process. Firstly because this eliminates the risk of the fluorine gas produced in this process being emitted into the atmosphere. Secondly because it allows as much as possible of this gas to be re-used in the production process (fluorine combines with alumina to produce enriched alumina, the raw material for primary aluminium).
- Maximum performance over a long life cycle.
- Reduction and control of emissions.
- Products meeting market standards.
- Manufacturing to order.
- Boosting the efficiency and performance of facilities.
The design of these bags has maintained the multi-channel philosophy, but has varied in terms of the number and separation of the channels as well as the length of the bag. ICT FILTRATION has manufactured up to fifteen different models, from the oldest with 19 and 9 channels to the most modern with 22, 29 and 32 channels.
The bag cleaning system has evolved from pulsed countercurrent air, to vacuum countercurrent, to "Plenum Pulse" compressed air. Precisely, the textile used varies depending on the cleaning system. The chemical conditions, humidity and working temperature also determine the quality of the textile.
