The PROCEPT Pan Coater is used for small to medium scale sugar, film or enteric coating of tablets, capsules, pellets or spheres. Depending on drum size, the typical batch range varies from 50g to 6kg of product. In many cases, one of the crucial steps in tablet development, is coating. The coating can have several functions. It can be used to strengthen the tablet, improve stability, control release, taste masking it, esthetic color, … It is normally integrated on a trolley, but can wall mounted, or on a fixed table/floor stand.
