- Adjustable Pathlength for Precision: The cell’s pathlength can be fine-tuned using internal spacing rings to achieve optimal measurement for your specific process. Once set, the ideal pathlength is secured for operational use by swapping the PTFE ferrules with stainless steel ones.
- Durable Sapphire Optics: Known for outstanding durability, sapphire optics are well-suited to the near-infrared spectrum, providing an excellent optical transmission range to meet demanding applications.
- Standard Swagelok Connections: Equipped with readily available Swagelok fittings (US sizes), the cell connects easily to the process stream.
- Designed for Varied Chemical Conditions: Built with a robust 316L stainless steel body and FFKM sealing, this cell withstands a broad range of process chemistries, accommodating flowing liquids at temperatures up to 200 °C and pressures up to 30 bar g.
Adjustable Pathlength Configuration
For determining or calibrating the optimal pathlength for a specific application, the included PTFE ferrules should be used to secure the optics. Spacer rings allow for repeated adjustments to the pathlength as needed. This setup has the following performance limits:
- Max Pressure: Ambient only
- Temperature Range: Ambient
- Pathlength Options: Adjustable to 2, 4, 6, 8, or 10 mm
Fixed Pathlength Configuration
Once the ideal pathlength is established for standard operations, the supplied stainless steel ferrules can be used to secure the optics. In this setup, the pathlength is locked in using spacer rings and cannot be adjusted after the stainless steel ferrules are installed.
- Max Pressure: 100 bar g at 20 °C / 30 bar g at 200 °C
- Temperature Range: Ambient to 200 °C
- Pathlength Options: Fixed at 2, 4, 6, 8, or 10 mm
