Projaw - Model 90 -Primary Jaw Crusher
The jaw crusher crushes the stones with the high pressure force it applies to the material. Mechanical pressure is applied using the two jaws of the crusher. Thanks to this elliptical flow of motion, the material to be crushed is crushed and falls under the influence of gravity through the wedge-shaped gap between the two jaws. This gap is called the crushing gap and can be adjusted according to the desired product size.
Can crush any hardness material.
Thanks to the mechanism of the jaw crusher that high amount of mechanical pressure created by two jaws, one of which is fixed and the other making an elliptical movement, it can easily crush large stones of any hardness. Thanks to this feature, it is the most preferred crusher type in crushing and screening plants.
Elliptical movement is provided by the eccentricity of the shaft to which the movable jaw is attached. This elliptical flow movement created allows the material to be fragmented between the fixed jaw and the movable jaw.
High Performance
Thanks to the design of the crushing chamber in jaw crushers, even in mines with high abrasiveness, less wear occurs compared to impact crushers. In this way, jaw crushers offer long-lasting working performance. Jaw crushers allow processing of larger material than impact crushers. It also works with high capacity at low motor powers. This ensures high working efficiency.
Ease of Maintenance
Jaw crushers do not require daily maintenance other than lubrication. Maintenance costs are thus very low. Wear parts can be used for a very long time.
Different Units
Depending on the location and purpose of use of the facility, jaw crushers can be manufactured as mobile, with fixed steel feet, fixed concrete feet, and fixed skid chassis.
In the mobile chassis type, the feeding unit, jaw crusher and output band are coupled into one piece. It is very advantageous in terms of ease of installation and transportation.
In types with fixed steel feet and fixed skid chassis, it is positioned on a very rigid steel structure, coupled with the feeding unit, and is designed to be disassembled as much as possible in terms of ease of installation.
If it is a fixed concrete footed type The chassis legs are made of concrete instead of steel. A rigid chassis made of structural steel is placed on concrete feet. Jaw crusher and feeding unit are placed on this chassis.
