Reliable online measurement of ORP – with DULCOTEST sensors

Our product line of DULCOTEST ORP electrodes provides a wide range of sensors for different measuring tasks. The field of application covers everything from simpler water treatment tasks to industrial process waters with more stringent requirements in terms of temperature, pressure, contamination tolerance and chemical resistance.

The production of our electrodes is subject to very strict quality controls. Routine steps are automated but critical steps are carried out manually under expert supervision. In this way we achieve optimum reproducible quality and cost reduction.

ORP potential is a measured variable that quantifies the presence of oxidants or reducing agents in a medium under specific conditions on a non-selective basis. Measuring this parameter is relatively inexpensive, but does have some drawbacks: no selective measurement of a specific oxidant / reducing agent, strong dependence on pH, measuring signal tends towards a saturation curve as concentration increases. To measure specific reducing agents and oxidants selectively, without the above disadvantages, suitable amperometric sensors are used (e.g. chlorine sensors).

  • Precise and reliable measurement enables efficient processes and maximum process reliability
  • The wide choice of sensor types with different constructions makes them reliable components in many applications
  • A long service life is achieved through the use of select quality materials for the measuring electrodes and diaphragms and a stable reference system. This minimises both downtime and maintenance
  • With short storage times and fast delivery, your sensors can be up and running very quickly and you can make maximum use of their service life (all glass sensors start to age as soon as they leave production)
  • Wide range of special versions for fitting length, cable length and plugs for made-to-measure connection to your process
  • Unique label for OEM partners
  • Selection of sensor type according to the application
  • The insertion angle must be > 15° from the horizontal
  • Maximum flow < 0.8 m/s
  • With cable lengths > 10 m, use the 4-20 mA transducer type PHV1
  • Calibration using quality buffer solutions
