Proteus - Model Handylift Swinger BT -Manhole Cover Lifter

The Proteus Handylift Swinger BT Spec is a specialised kit specifically designed to simplify the lifting of BT carriageway lids. As well as being able to lift all the two-keyhole sewer covers that the normal Swinger model is designed for, the BT Spec includes special accessories which allow it to lift these tricky telecoms covers.

The accessory pack includes a patented locking plate to provide additional stability, as well as four heavy duty keys and a pair of arced wheel runners for stable lifting on uneven surfaces. The holes in the plate are designed to line up with those on the cover, allowing you to insert four keys in total and get an even lifting process across both halves of the cover.

In recent years the Swinger models have increased massively in popularity, and in response to this we have given the lifters several upgrades which greatly enhance the strength and stability.
