NANOFER 25P - Pyrophoric nZVI Nanopowder
Nanopowder, consisting of Fe(0) nanoparticles without surface modification, preserved in an inert nitrogen atmosphere. The product exhibits extremely high reactivity and is usable for secondary stabilization or modification depending on intended application.
NANOFER 25P is available primary for large-scale projects as a feedstock for preparation of a water slurry product, which can be easily manufactured by our industrial dispersion unit.
The product requires special certified packaging and processing under protective atmosphere by reason of its pyrophoric properties. We recommend to use our air-stable NZVI powder NANOFER STAR if you consider pyrophoricity as problematic attribute.

NANOFER 25P is distributed in special, gastight deposit containers. It is recommended to use our industrial dispersion unit to process this nanopowder into a slurry form. Another option is to use a glovebox or simmilar device, where pyrophoric substances can be safely manipulated under an innert atmosphere.
Shelf-life: NANOFER 25P may be stored for unlimited time in the original packaging. Please avoid contact with water and excesive heat before use. The gas pressure must be checked every 6 months and adjusted if necessary.
Shipping: The product is transportable via road (ADR), rail (RID) or sea (IMDG) according to international standards for shipping of dangerous goods. It is not possible to deliver pyrophoric substances by plane (IATA).
