Ross Manufacturing - Rack & Pinion Ceiling Gate
Ross Manufacturing`s Rack and Pinion Ceiling Gates are manufactured to meet the most demanding of dry bulk solid material handling applications. Durable mechanical rack and pinions and heavy 8 Ga. construction ensures extended life compared to many competitor`s 10 Ga. standard. Materials available are galvanized, mild steel, AR steel, and stainless steel. Each side uses a 1" 2-bolt flange bearing with grease fitting. The 1" cold-rolled steel shaft is keyed for controls and can be swapped for operation on either side (bolted shaft available upon request). Our improved design plate minimizes leakage through the door slot with a wiper plate. One 14 Ga. rear weather cover comes standard, additional available upon request.
Flanges are punched with slotted holes for easy installation, and can be customized per your specifications. UHMW and ball bearings available upon request in lieu of keystock. Additional accessories that compliment gates are hand control wheels, cable control wheels, chain control wheels, pneumatics, and electric controlled.

- One standard rear weather cover of matching material type included with each gate, but can be deducted upon request.
- Rod pull slide gates available in lieu of Rack and Pinion side controlled for use with control rod or controls mounted at gate end (or rear).
