The Rapid Open-Hearted concept provides within a few steps total access to the heart of the machine supporting rapid cleaning, maintenance and "Visibly clean inspection". Clear visual access to the core machine parts allows “visibly clean” inspection and approval of the machine before it resumes operation, preventing potential contamination at color and material changes. The Rapid 600-series comes in three widths, 36", 48" and 60".

"Open-Hearted" Design. Provides full and easy access to the complete cutterhouse interior, including the granule bin and screen. When servicing, this gives unmatched access to both rotating and fixed knives. And, you get complete control of the cleaning when changing material and/or color – Visibly clean inspection.

Mineral Composit Technology Base, MCT. The 600-Series’ base is made of a special mineral composite material to give the stability that is needed for smooth granulation and efficient absorption of stress and vibrations.

"Super-Tangential" cutter house design. The Super-Tangential cutterhouse is ideal for voluminous parts and scrap providing excellent grip. Available with two fixed knives.

Double scissors cutting action. Knives in V-position provides the most efficient cutting of plastics, generating highest possible regrind quality and at the same time saving energy.

Constant Cutting Circle, CCC. Guarantees the correct distance between screen and knives, that is one of the cruicial factors for high quality regrind, after multiple knife resharpenings.

Pre-adjustable knives. Minimize downtime when changing knives and enables exact setting of the knife gap, crucial to get high quality regrind.

Swing out cutter house front/cradle. Gives full access to cutter house interior. Cleaning and maintenance with complete visibility and accessability.

Heavy duty transmission. Provides powerful and at the same time energy saving granulation. Can be extended with optional increased inertia and friction clutch.

Reversible screens. The screens can be turned, providing longer lifetime and maximum durability. And, as they are split into two, they are easy to handle for the operator.

Rotor stand still guard. Provides safe and efficient opening of the granulator.

Electrical jack opening. The electrical jack simplifies the opening and closing of the hopper, as well as making it safe.

  • Infeed hoppers for all types of production. Dedicated designs for feeding with belt conveyor, continous roll feeding of film and foil as well as full rolls of for example skeletal waste, feeding of sheets, pipe/profiles. We provide a design that match your type of production.
  • Cutterhouse designs. For more thick-walled, as well as for bulk waste, the "Tangential" cutterhouse is ideal. Configuration includes two fixed knives, if increased throughput is required, one or two additional fixed knives can be specified.
  • The ‘‘Pre-cut’’ cutterhouse configuration is recommended for heavy-duty granulation of sheets, pipes, profiles and thickwalled materials etc. The material is cut piece-by-piece without falling ‘‘into the rotor’’. Normally a 5-blade or a 7-blade rotor is used depending on capacity requirements. Two standard fixed knives, can also be equipped with up to three additional fixed knives.
  • Rotor configurations. The standard 3-blade open rotor is ideal when maximum grip is required, for example when recycling bulky products such as containers.
  • Beam rotors are designed to be more robust, desired for tougher applications, available in 3-, 5- and 7-blade versions. The number of knives to use is determined by the specific application to be configured.
  • For certain applications, for example recycling of heavy, compact lumps, the 7-blade staggered RS rotor is ideal, cutting bit by bit of the plastics.
  • Additional fixed knives. To increase throughput one or more fixed knives can be added depending on cutterhouse design.
  • Heavy duty transmission, Extended version. With extra increased inertia flywheel, including friction clutch. On sudden stops of rotor, due to for example too big bites infeed, the friction clutch protects the rotor, cutterhouse and drive belts from damage.
  • Knife setting jig. To minimize downtime and to achieve the exact knife gap, required for high quality regrind production, the knife setting jig is a useful tool.
  • PowerTech package. Wear resistant execution for longer lifetime of wear parts.
  • Sound proofing. Our granulators can be equipped with integrated sound proofing, if required, to lower the noise that is generated by all granulators. In situations when extra low levels are desired the new modular Rapid MSS is ideal, building a flexible sound cabinet around the source of noise.
  • Level indicator. To protect against build up of material in bin, and possible over heating of granulator, a level indicator is useful. Can be set to different levels of functionality, from basic warning signal to controlling of the complete production cell.
