Rapid - Model LBB 300-Series -Low Built Base Granulator

The new Rapid LBB 300-Series, Low Built Base, granulator is an extremely low built granulator series available in three widths, up to 1500 mm. Typical applications involve thermo­forming where the granulator can operate with either a rollfeed unit synced to line speed with a loop control or by a simple tray for falling skeletal frames from the line. Other suitable applications are as a final granulation step in a setup with a shredder and also for films and sheets up to 8 mm thickness depending on material.

The base of the Rapid LBB 300 Series can be used in a variety of applications.

  • Under a shredder it makes a very compact installation for a final granulation step
  • With a roll feed unit it can be fitted under thermoforming machine to recycle the skeletal waste directly when it leavs the line. No need for handling rolls of waste etc.
  • For sheets up to 8 mm it makes a very compact installation

Infeed height as low as 600 mm makes the LBB 300 fit in many applications where space is limited.

All three models are easy to open. The two wider models have split doors, bins and screens to make them convenient to handle.

  • PowerTech package. Wear resistant execution for longer lifetime of screen and cutter house.
  • Roll feeder with loop control. Infeed for in-line granulation of mainly thermoformed skeletal waste. Including roll feeder with loop control.
  • Docking infeed. For example to run under a shredder, making an ultra compact unit. No extra belt conveyor needed for evacuation from shredder to granulator.
  • Inlet rear feed. General inlet for manual feeding of film/foil and thin sheets.
