Feritech - Model FT401 / 1m RTP -Real Time Penetration (RTP)
The Real Time Penetration system (RTP) is designed to integrate with Feritech’s FT0551 Vibrocorer and is configurable for different sample lengths. The modules are available in 1m and 3m lengths that are easily attached to the vibrocorer tower without increasing the overall dimensions. The system measures how far the vibrocorer barrel has penetrated into the sediment to ensure that a full sample is recovered on every deployment. High resolution penetration data can be collected in real time via our umbilical connection to our FT0555 HVDC Controller.
