Reverse Osmosis
Reverse Osmosis is a process used to remove dissolved ions from water. When designing RO systems a complete analysis of RO Chemistry should be done in advance. In RO, pressure forces the water through a semi-permeable membrane element. The membrane will freely pass water but rejects most of the dissolved materials as well as any small particles in the feed water. Thus the permeate water which has passed the membrane contains a relatively low concentration of ions compared to the reject (or concentrate) which contains all of the ions which did not pass the membrane in a reduced quantity of water. Most popular related searches

Applied Water Solutions provides reverse osmosis system capable of removing 95 to 99% of the dissolved minerals and at least 99% of the bacteria, particles and organics (including pyrogens) having a molecular weight greater than 250.
Membranes of TFC or polyamide construction for operation using feed water with a pH in the range of 2 to 12 and a maximum temperature of 1040 F. The unit is designed to provide a minimum of 70% overall operational efficiency. All unit functions are controlled through a central microprocessor with integrated monitoring and control of the following provided unit features:
- Continuous level control system capable of monitoring storage tank level with user selectable unit start/stop points.
- Complete integration, control and interlock with all other system components
- Automatic monitoring, alarming and unit shutdown on low/high pressure, high temperature, low quality, pump failure, low pneumatic air pressure and required unit cleaning and maintenance.
