The Revo Hand-Arm Vibration Meter provides a simple and convenient way to measure, analyse and assess hand-arm vibration data in accordance with standards such as ISO 5349 and European Directive 2002/44/EC.
Capable of measuring four channels simultaneously, the Revo Hand-Arm Vibration Meter meets the requirements of ISO 8041:2005 and is ideal for assessing hand-arm vibration to help reduce the incidence of permanent and painful conditions such as Hand-Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS) and Vibration White Finger associated with over-exposure of vibration from power tools and other vibrating machinery.
The Revo vibration meter gives you the Vector Sum m/s2 (of the triaxial vibration measurement consisting of X, Y and Z) of individual tools, and also m/s2 A(8) vibration exposure over your average over a working day.
The exposure action value (EAV) is the daily amount of vibration exposure above which you should take action to reduce exposure; the greater the exposure level, the greater the risk and the more action you need to take to reduce the risk. For hand-arm vibration the exposure action value (EAV) is a daily exposure of 2.5 m/s2 A(8).
The exposure limit value (ELV) is the maximum amount of vibration an employee may be exposed to on any single day under the Regulations. For hand-arm vibration the ELV is a daily exposure of 5 m/s2 A(8). It represents a high risk above which no employee not be exposed.
The Revo vibration meter is available as a Hand-Arm and Whole-Body vibration kit suitable to any industry where employees might be affected by vibration during their working day.
Import the data from your Revo Vibration Meter for the easy calculation of Daily Vibration Exposure A(8) for hand-arm and whole-body vibration.
- Compliant reporting. Contains information required for ISO 2631 or ISO 5349
- Simple import. Easily import from your Revo Vibration Meter
- A(8) calculation. Automatically calculate A(8) values from imported data
- Monitor exposure. Assign people and activities to your results
