RusFoam - Model NG -Nitrogen Generated Foam
Rusmar brings you a new tool to add to your arsenal of safety practices and procedures: RusFoam® NG. This process involves the injection of RusFoam® NG into a sealed off area in order to displace gases, such as methane and oxygen, present in the area. RusFoam® NG is an aqueous foam generated with nitrogen that is engineered to persist sufficiently long to completely fill a sealed off area.
As the nitrogen generated foam is injected into the sealed area the gases present are forced out of the area into the gob. After injection, the foam drains over the course of several days releasing the nitrogen captured in the foam bubbles during generation. The result of the injection is the creation of an inert environment in the sealed area reducing or eliminating the risk of explosion in the area.
