The tightness uses a patented rolling seal and float system. The design, uses two chamber sections which allows, under
continuous discharge conditions, the joints to be held at a higher pressure, making it more reliable than conventional systems
with only one small chamber.
The D040 2" has a single air passage, divided in two chambers, controlled by a single float and rolling seal. The large chamber
(804mm2) admits air and prevents a vacuum during drainage and discharges air at high flow rates during the filling of the
system and prevents overpressure. The small section (12 mm2) allows a discharge of bubbles and air pockets during the
installation or normally running phase.

On the 2" version, the drain elbow with integrated protective grid, supplied as standard, is simply screwed onto the body.
