SALHER - Model CHC-OXIREC-C -Low-Load Activated Sludge Water Treatment Plant
The treatment plant for low-load activated sludge (extended aeration) with settling tank, compressor, diffuser grid and sludge recirculation system CHC-OXIREC-C is used to treat water of medium and large populations, to remove 80% to 90% organic matter (BOD5). This equipment in GFRP includes a system of oxygen supply and equalization of the mixed liquor through compressor and grid of fine bubble diffusers in EPDM, a compact settling tank and an activated sludge recirculation system through submerged pump. It includes an electrical panel board for electromechanical protection and programming.
The treatment plant by low-load activated sludge (extended aeration) with truncated shape settling tank, compressor, fine bubble diffusers grid and sludge recirculation system CHC-OXI-REC-DEC is almost the same than the previous one, but for a higher organic matter removal (BOD5 ≥ 90 – 95%). It is achieved with the incorporation of a truncated cone shape settling tank with central feeding and Thompson perimeter canal.
The nitrification-denitrification treatment plants are secondary treatments by low-load activated sludge, with biological nitrogen removal (nitrification-denitrification) and clarification process. Optionally, a phosphorus removal system is available.
We find two models that differ from each other in the clarification process: the CHC-OXI-REC-C-ANOX treatment plant carries out its clarification process in a secondary compact settling tank and the CHC-OXI-REC-DEC-ANOX in an independent truncated shape cone settling tank.
Both are manufactured in GFRP and remove the organic matter (BOD5 ≥ 90 – 95%) and nitrogen and phosphorus. Their internal layout, except the clarification process part, consists of an anoxic chamber through a submerged agitator with a discharge kit, a system for oxygen supply and equalization of the mixed liquor in an aerobic chamber through a compressor and fine bubble EPDM diffusers grid and an internal and external recirculation system through submerged pump and discharge kit. It includes a panel board for protection and programming of electromechanical equipment.
